Horn Adjustment Gone Awry

261,982 Miles

Performed: August 9, 2023

It was bothering me that the yellow Hella horns weren’t visibly aligned behind the grill. I set out to fix that. What could go wrong?

What went wrong? When I was loosening the bracket to reposition the left horn, I lost my grip and it fell to the ground. The horns sounded so bad I was embarrassed to use them.

I rewired and put the old horns back in which turned out to be a big improvement. The more I looked at those yellow horns the less I liked them.
