Hella Supertones

258,865 Miles

Performed: April 26, 2023

I had to remove the right horn when I added the external transmission fluid cooler. Because of the trumpet style I wasn’t able to squeeze it back in so I began looking for replacements. After some extensive research on T4R.org I decided I either needed a set of Hella Supertones or a set of 4 Notes from an old GM. There was a guy selling the 4 Notes on TacomaWorld but it looks like he became another covid casualty. So I had to settle for the Supertones. They do a good job. Better than stock.

I had to remove the passenger side horn to make room for the tranny cooler.

  • Looks Cross eyed

I couldn’t take the cross eyed look so I tried to improve the alignment. It’s not perfect but I can live with it.
